2. The 0% Interest-Free Finance Option (Short-Term Instalments)
We offer a 0% interest-free instalment option designed to help domestic and commercial customers spread the cost of electrical works and air conditioning system installations.
- Repayment Terms: The 0% interest-free plan is strictly limited to fixed terms of either 3 months or 6 months.
- Maximum Financial Limit: The maximum total invoice value eligible for the 0% interest-free plan is £3,000.
- Deposit Requirement: All 0% agreements require a mandatory upfront deposit, calculated as a set percentage of the total project value. This deposit must be cleared before any physical installation or engineering works commence on site.
3. Alternative & Interest-Bearing Finance (Projects Exceeding £3,000 or Longer Terms)
Where the total contract value exceeds £3,000, or where a customer requests a repayment timeline extending past 6 months, alternative finance structures must be utilized.
- Interest Rates Apply: These extended plans are not interest-free and will carry a fixed Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The precise interest rate and total amount payable will be fully disclosed during the application process before you sign the agreement.
- Increased Deposits: Projects falling into interest-bearing finance categories may require a higher percentage deposit based on the credit partner's risk profile and the overall contract scale.
4. Domestic Market Stipulations (B2C Agreements)
Contracts entered into by private individuals acting outside of a business capacity are afforded complete protection under UK consumer law.
- Eligibility & Credit Profiling: Domestic applicants must be aged 18 or over and be permanent UK residents. All credit lines are granted subject to formal status assessments, digital credit reference checks, and strict affordability verification handled by Pay It Monthly Ltd.
- Statutory Right to Withdraw: Under UK credit regulations, domestic consumers possess an absolute 14-day right to withdraw from the Pay It Monthly credit agreement itself without penalty.
- Separation of Service Contract: If engineering works, system designs, or electrical installations have legally commenced or been completed at your explicit request within those 14 days, withdrawing from the finance agreement does not dissolve your contract with TMUK Group Ltd. You remain legally liable to settle the remaining balance for labour and non-refundable materials immediately via an alternative payment method.
- Consumer Protection (Section 75): Regulated finance agreements provide domestic consumers with joint-and-several liability protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for breaches of contract or misrepresentations relating to the supplied goods/services.
5. Commercial Market Stipulations (B2B Agreements)
Contracts executed by commercial clients, corporate entities, partnerships, or sole traders acting inside a business capacity are handled under commercial standards.
- No Automatic Cooling-Off: Commercial credit arrangements are binding upon formal digital signing and approval. Business clients do not inherit the statutory 14-day cooling-off or withdrawal periods reserved for domestic consumers unless explicitly granted by the lender's custom commercial criteria.
- Corporate Liability: The applying business entity remains jointly liable alongside any personal guarantors for the fulfillment of the instalment framework. Should a commercial entity default on payments, TMUK Group Ltd reserves the immediate right to suspend ongoing site maintenance or electrical compliance certification.
6. Repayment Schedules and Collection
- Direct Debit Mandate: All monthly instalment payments are managed and collected via automated Direct Debit schedules handled by Pay It Monthly Ltd.
- Late/Missed Instalments: Failure to maintain Direct Debit payments constitutes a breach of the finance terms. Late or missed payments may incur default administrative fees applied by the lender, will cause the account to be flagged, and can severely impact your commercial or personal credit file, hindering future borrowing capability.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Financial Adjustments
- All cancellations, system changes, or returns must strictly align with the overarching TMUK Group Ltd Comprehensive Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Refund Routing: If a refund is authorized due to a verified hardware fault or mutual contract termination, TMUK Group Ltd will execute the refund loop directly to Pay It Monthly Ltd. The funds will be credited straight to your finance account to reduce or fully offset your outstanding loan principal. TMUK Group Ltd will never issue cash or direct bank refunds to a client for an active project balance funded via the finance route.
8. Regulatory Disclosure
- Status Disclosure: TMUK Group Ltd (including its trading styles Black Country Air Conditioning and Black Country Sparks) acts exclusively as a credit broker and is not a lender. We introduce consumers and commercial clients solely to Pay It Monthly Ltd to facilitate instalment finance options.
- Regulation of Credit: Short-term, interest-free instalment options (3–6 months) may operate under specific legislative exemptions. Regulated credit products introduced by us are administered and underwritten entirely by Pay It Monthly Ltd, operating under the oversight of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
